Forecast and discussion by Storm Tracker Meteorologist Nick Morganelli
High pressure departing this afternoon as clouds take over and spotty light showers return especially this evening as a low pressure area tracks west of us. Rainfall will only total a tenth or two tenths of an inch and it will certainly not be raining all the time this evening. Once the wind ramps up, it will stay windy for about 18 hours!
A warm front will push north of us tonight and with an increasing southerly wind, temperatures rise overnight.
Gusty southerly winds will shift to the west Friday and continue to gust 20-35 mph.
We’ll cool down Friday night and Saturday as a secondary cold front returns more seasonal air to the region.
