The yabba-dabba-dispute is over, lawsuit over “Flintstones” house settled

HILLSBOROUGH, CA (WLNE) – YABBA-DABBA-DO! Fred Flinstone fought the law, and he won after a lawsuit filed in a small California town settled, and “Flintstones House” can stay right where it is.

The town of Hillsborough, a suburb of San Francisco, has called the colorful house a “public nuisance” and took the owner to court two years ago.

Mark Hudak, an attorney for Hillsborough, previously said the town prides itself on its rural, woodsy feel, and rules are set in place “so neighbors don’t have to look at your version of what you would like to have, and you don’t have to look at theirs.”

The owner, a retired publishing mogul, Florence Fang, counter-sued to protect all of her sculptures.

Now, according to the Palo Alto Post, everything can stay right where it is.
