Three arrested in Fall River bank robbery

The group were responsible for two bank robberies on October 29.

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- Police in Fall River announced the arrest of the three suspects in connection to two separate bank robberies last week.

The robberies happened on October 29 at St. Anne’s Credit Union on 1675 President Avenue and Bank 5 on 1301 Pleasant Street, occurring within two and a half hours of each other.

On Wednesday, Fall River Police Department announced the arrest of three people.

Matthew Rodrigues, 31, is charged with two counts of unarmed robbery.

Monica Camara, 40, is charged with one count accessory after the fact.

John Teixeria, 44, is charged with two counts unarmed robbery, all are currently in custody.

Members of the Major Crimes Division were able to apprehend the suspects with assist from the Dartmouth and Raynham Police Departments connecting the three suspects to the robberies.
