Three state police members to run 127th Boston Marathon for charity

BOSTON (WLNE) — Three members of the Rhode Island State Police will be among over 30,000 runners in the 127th Boston Marathon on Monday.
Sgt. Daniel O’Neil and troopers Neil Kelly and Brendan Morgan will run to raise $15,000 for the organization Cops for Kids with Cancer.
Several organizations and individuals signed up to be a sponsor for the charity’s Boston Marathon team.
As of Monday morning, Cops for Kids with Cancer raised over $323,000 of its $400,000 goal.
Those who would like to donate to one of the sponsors can do so online.
