Three Twin Oaks employees test positive for COVID-19; restaurant to remain closed

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Twin Oaks restaurant in Cranston announced Monday that it will remain closed until further notice, citing the length of time in getting results from coronavirus tests.

The news follows an earlier announcement that three employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant released a statement on Facebook earlier Monday announcing that three out of the its 160 employees tested positive for the virus.

Twin Oaks said that they have taken every precaution necessary, closing early on Saturday for a professional cleaning company to properly sanitize.

In the statement released Monday afternoon, the restaurant said so far, all tests had returned negative.
