Through NFL, Komotay Koffie Hopes To Bring Father to America

Komotay Koffie grew up in Providence after immigrating from Liberia with his brother, Kwity Paye, and his mother Agnes.

Agnes took her two children to live with family in Rhode Island, escaping Civil War in Liberia.

The two boys had to leave their father, LeRoy, behind in West Africa.

While living in Providence, the kids fell in love with football. Kwity was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft after attending Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, RI, and the University of Michigan.

Komotay played high school football in Tennessee. He played defensive back at New Mexico State and Northern Colorado. He now hopes to make it to the NFL to sponsor his father as he immigrates to the United States.
