Tiverton police ask for help in locating missing 16-year-old girl

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tiverton Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 16-year-old girl.

Police said Avah, 16, was last seen by her mother Friday evening.

Authorities said she was last reported wearing a “crop-top” sweatshirt and camo sweatpants.

Avah is further described as being 5 feet, 7 inches, 155 pounds, with long brown hair with blonde highlights.

Police said Avah could be in the Newport, Portsmouth or Middletown area and could possibly be in danger.

Anyone with information on Avah’s whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt. Ryan Huber or Officer Jack Barter at (401) 625-6717.

Anyone who sees Avah is asked to call 911.
