Tiverton’s first police comfort dog to report for duty

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tiverton Police Department will soon welcome its first comfort and therapy dog.

Officer Shaun Wilson chose a black labrador named Blue.

The new addition to the department is coming from Boonefield Labradors.

The department created a Facebook page to post updates on Blue and document his impact on the community.

Blue is expected to be on-duty next week.
