Tom Brady, Gronk, Edelman Among Six Pats Absent from Practice on Wednesday, Bledsoe Talks About Brady

By Ken Bell

Four key offensive players were among six who did not hit the practice field Wednesday in Foxboro.

Tom Brady’s knee kept him out as it did for two days last week.  Also missing, Gronk (back) Julian Edelman (foot), Martellus Bennette (ankle/shoulder), Nate Ebner (concussion), and defensive back Jordan Richards with a knee injury.

Former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe was at Gillette on Wednesday.  Bledsoe and other members of the 2001 championship team will be honored during the Pats game against Rams on Sunday.

Bledsoe met the media and talked about the career of the man who replaced him, Tom Brady.
