Tom Brady rookie card to sell for more than Brady’s base salary

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE)- A Tom Brady autographed rookie football card will shatter the record for the highest known price for a football card Friday night at 11 p.m.
The record was set last month when a similar card sold for $1.32 million in auction.
The card up for auction at 11 p.m. will sell for at least $1,877,379.00.
That total is $802,379 more than the seven time Super Bowl champ’s base salary for the upcoming season.
Brady is set to make just $1,075,000 for the 2021-22 NFL season.
He’s still worth more than the card though, thanks to his $8 million dollar signing bonus.
