Town of Dighton inviting community to 3rd Annual Firecracker Festival

DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission is inviting the community to their third annual Firecracker Festival.
The town said the festival will take place at Dighton Town Hall on Somerset Avenue, from noon until 5 p.m., September 9.
Town officials said it will feature activities for all ages, including face painting, games, prizes and a “Sink the SROs” dunk tank.
The festival will also feature Touch-a-Truck with the Dighton Police and Fire Departments as well as live music and entertainment.
Food and beverages will be offered by the Dighton Lions Club and Faneek’s Coney Island.
