Tracking Zeta: Rain, Wind & Snow

Heavy rain continues to build into the area this afternoon. Expect cool temperatures today with highs only in the upper 40s and low 50s. Overnight will be windy with gusts 30-40MPH expected, slightly higher farthest south and east.

Heavy rain continues through the evening and overnight into Friday morning. 1-2″ of rain can be expected for most, even some higher totals possible. As the remnants of Zeta pull away, even colder air rushes in and the precipitation may end as some wet snow Friday morning. Little to no accumulation expected for our area, with the exception of some wet snow on grassy surfaces for areas farthest north and west. Temperatures will drop as Friday progresses, 40s in the morning but down into the 30s by the afternoon.
