TRAFFIC: Tanker tips over in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE) — A part of Frenchtown Road in East Greenwich has been blocked due to a tanker truck that tipped over.

East Greenwich Police say the westbound side from the Route 4 on-ramp to about 165 Frenchtown Road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time while crews access the situation.

Authorities say the eastbound is currently open.

DEM has been called to the scene, and no injuries have been reported.
