Traveling Vietnam Wall returns to Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The American Veteran Traveling Tribute returned to Warwick over the weekend.

The traveling Vietnam War Memorial was set up in Rocky Point State Park from Sept. 8 to Sept. 10.

On Saturday and Sunday, a tribute ceremony was held at 2:09 p.m. to recognize the 209 Rhode Islanders who died during the war.

“I think it’s very important that people don’t forget the sacrifice of these veterans,” William Dorry of Operation Stand Down Rhode Island.
