Two adults displaced from home after fire in Exeter

EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) — The American Red Cross said they are assisting a family that was displaced after a fire in Exeter Saturday.

The fire happened on Ten Rod Road where two adults were affected.

The Red Cross said the family will connect with, “caseworkers in the coming days to work on a longer-term recovery plan.” They will also provide, “comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant; shaving supplies and other items a resident might need when suddenly displaced from their home by a fire.”

No word on the cause of the fire.
