Two adults, one juvenile charged with shooting at Providence home

Police have three suspects in custody after a drive-by shooting last night on Carr Avenue.

Three suspects pulled up to a Carr street home in a vehicle and shots were fired. It was unclear whether the individuals were just being reckless or whether there was reason for firing the shots.

A short time later at 10:30 p.m. police tracked down the vehicle and the suspects fled on foot. Police were able to apprehend the three individuals after a brief foot pursuit.

The two adult suspects were identified as 19-year-old Jovany Vargas and 20-year-old Jordan Cook, the third suspect was a juvenile. Cook was charged with reckless eluding, conspiracy to discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle. Vargas was charged with discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, illegal possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to discharge a firearm from a motor vehicle.

It is unclear what charges the juveniles face.

Bail was set at $2,000 with surety.
