Two arrested in connection to armed robbery in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Rhode Island State Police arrested two individuals Monday in connection to an armed robbery in Woonsocket.

Troopers arrested Brittany Jefferies, 26, of Pawtucket, for Possession of a Firearm, and Troy Adams, 32, of Pawtucket, for Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Crime of Violence.

Both Jefferies and Adams were arrested after an investigation into an armed robbery resulted in police stopping their vehicle on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence Monday afternoon.

Jefferies was arraigned and released, and Adams was held overnight pending his Tuesday morning arraignment.
