Providence house fire displaces two families

Two families are homeless Monday night after a fire destroys their apartment in Providence.

The fire on Laurel Hill Ave started on the third floor and caused severe damage to the building.

Fire officials say two families were inside the home when the fire broke out, everyone made it out safely.

The Red Cross was called in to assist the families.

No word yet on what started the fire, it is currently under investigation
