Two lanes of I-95 North briefly blocked by four-car crash

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The right two lanes of I-95 North at Jefferson Boulevard were briefly blocked Tuesday evening when four cars were involved in a crash.

Rhode Island State Police confirm they responded to reports of a four-car crash at 8:43 p.m. There were no injuries, though police say one person was transported to the hospital complaining of pain.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Sergeant Scott Carlston said the cars rear-ended each other in succession.
