Two men have been charged with robbing the same Cranston food store three times in less than a month.

Police arrested Jonathon O’Brien, 20 of Warwick and Richard Bueno, 18, of Cranston after being called to an alarm sounding at Sam’s Food Store on Pontiac Avenue.

Police say at around 11:35 p.m. two suspects robbed the store, one with a handgun, and fled with approximately $150 in cash.

Responding officers quickly located the two men and found cash in a plastic bag, a BB gun, bandanas, assorted clothing that was worn by the suspects during the robber, as well as a box of cigars along the route that the suspect’s fled from the business.

Police say they were able to link the two men to robberies on June 14 and June 16 at the same food store.

They are investigating whether those men are behind robberies in Cranston, Johnston and Providence dating back to April.

Bueno is being charged with 3 counts of First Degree Robbery and 2 counts of Conspiracy to commit First Degree Robbery. O’Brien is being charged with 2 counts of First Degree Robbery and 2 counts of Conspiracy to commit First Degree Robbery and Possession of Marijuana.
