Two People Arrested for stabbing at a restaurant

FALL RIVER – Two people have been arrested following a stabbing at at JC’s Café & Restaurant on Bedford Street. Both suspects are from Fall River.

Edwin Pacheco (24) and Crystal Colon (27) were escorted out of the bar for allegedly trying to provide drinks to another patron that had been “shut off.”

Fall River Police say the altercation began around 1:50 a.m. Saturday, when Colon and Pacheco allegedly pushed their way back into the bar after being kicked out. Pacheco had a knife.

As the owner and other patrons tried to get the two people to leave the bar for the second time, Pacheco stabbed three men and both suspects fled the scene.

Two of the three victims were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. All of them are currently in stable condition.

Colon and Pacheco were both arrested at Colon’s apartment on June Street.

The couple will be arraigned Monday morning at the Fall River Second District Court on charges of armed assault to murder, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
