Two rescued after boat sank off Warwick coast

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – The Warwick Fire Department rescued two males who’s boat capsized off Conimicut point early Thursday morning.
The men were travelling in a 17-foot boat around 1:30 a.m when it started to take on water.
The Fire Department dispatched the Warwick Marine unit to rescue the men.
The Battalion Chief said both men had life vests on and they were in the water for an estimated 45 minutes.
Warwick Marine took both men to the dock for an evaluation.
Neither men had serious injuries and did not need ambulatory transportation.
