Two warrants obtained for suspects in jewelry store robbery

SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE)- The Swansea police have announced warrants for two individuals believed to be responsible for a robbery in October.
On October 16, police received reports of a larceny of a diamond necklace from the Hannoush Jewelers. An investigation began and surveillance footage helped police to identify the suspects.
Travis Almonte, 24, from Florida, allegedly walked into the store and asked to see the high-valued diamond necklace before fleeing and entering a vehicle. Almonte is charged with larceny over $1,200 and conspiracy.
Julien Vasquez, 28, from Providence, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. Vasquez is charged with larceny over $1,200 and conspiracy. Vasquez is currently in custody for an unrelated incident.
