Two well known restaurants join forces to keep serving their menus to go
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Two well known restaurants in Providence have joined forces to keep serving up their menus to-go.
Julian’s and Pizza J share owners and since the start of the restaurant restrictions, they’ve also been sharing a space.
Their more popular dinner items from both menus have been served at Pizza J, leaving Julian’s closed.
On the weekends, they have been serving Julian’s popular brunch items out of the Pizza J location.
The owner says they are planning for the future and hot to safely ease back into conducting business as usual.
“We’re talking about how to – maybe there’s an app or some kind of Google Talk thing we can use for people to order at their tables, or if they need another drink. Because initially no one is going to feel very comfortable dining out. So, how do we create that to feel better for them.”
Beginning next Friday, they plan to move Julian’s staff members back to Julian’s and resume take-out service there.
