UMass Dartmouth cancels Freedom Festival

A popular annual tradition in Dartmouth has been canceled.

UMass Dartmouth and the town have canceled this years Freedom Festival due to a major campus construction project and anticipated tight budget.

There was talks of holding a downscaled event off campus, but it was determined that the logistics were too challenging.
