Unsettled Trend this Week

Sunday will finish up the weekend with very active weather! A slow-moving cold front will bring in showers developing through the morning. There is a good chance for thunderstorms as well Sunday afternoon through Sunday night. The main concern with these thunderstorms is locally heavy areas of rain that could lead to road ponding. Patches of fog will be here through Sunday as well. Sunday night is when the main event happens. We are expecting showers, thunderstorms and winds gusting 35-40 mph. In addition, we could pick up 1-2 inches of rainfall in heavier thunderstorms which may bring basement flooding into the picture. Monday starts with cloudiness then clear to sunshine. Monday will be the mildest day of the week with highs in the mid-60s. Tuesday through Friday will have possible showers every day and temperatures will run cooler than average.
