Rhody Football Announces Theme Days/Home Game Times
Rams open the 2010 season at home versus New Hampshire at Noon

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Rhode Island football team has announced its game times and theme days for all home contests this upcoming season.

The Rams will open the year at home on Military Day against New Hampshire beginning at Noon. URI's home-opener against the Wildcats will also be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet – New England.

Rhody returns home two weeks later for the 29th Annual Governor's Cup against Brown with kickoff set for 1 p.m. The Rams matchup against the Bears also will serve as Family Weekend.

Following a two-week road trip, the Rams will take on Maine, beginning at 12:30 p.m. for their annual Homecoming Game.

Rhody closes out the season with two of its final three games at home. On Nov. 6, the Rams take on defending national champion Villanova at 1 p.m. as a part of Youth Day. Rhody concludes the regular season on Nov. 20 at 12:30 p.m. as it takes on Massachusetts for URI Employee Appreciation/Senior Day.

The 2010 Rhode Island football team returns 18 starters in the form of seven on offense, nine on defense and two on special teams.
