URI Captain Henry Yianakopolos Signs with CFL’s BC Lions

Former URI football captain Henry Yianakopolos has signed a professional contract with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League.

Yianakopolos’s deal is for two years.

The defensive back/linebacker spent six years at Rhody, working his way from walk on to one of the most versatile players in the country.
