KINGSTON, R.I. — Officials are still on the hunt for whoever started two fires at the University of Rhode Island over the weekend.

According to a university spokesperson, resident assistants found a burning roll of toilet paper in a men’s bathroom stall at Hillside Hall Saturday.

A second fire erupted in a waste basket in the same bathroom.

Students in four rooms were relocated because of water damage from the emergency sprinklers going off.

The state fire marshal’s office is offering up to a $5,000 reward.
