URI Men’s Basketball Lands Two Commitments Monday

The URI men’s basketball program landing two commitments Monday in the continued rebuild of the Rams roster.

Monday night, North Carolina transfer guard Anthony Harris announced he’s headed to Kingston next year. Harris is a 6’4” guard and played three seasons with the Tar Heels.

Also Monday, Archie Miller and his staff got a verbal commitment from 6’7” New Zealand big man K.C. Nwafor. He’s currently playing international basketball for Team Nigeria. Nwafor may join the Rams roster mid-year next season or reclassify to 2023.
