URI requiring booster shots for spring semester

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- The University of Rhode Island is requiring all students and faculty to get a booster shot prior the beginning of the school’s spring semester.

Students and faculty will need to provide proof that they received their booster before January 24, which is the first day of classes.

Anyone who will not be eligible for the booster at the start of the semester will have 30 days to upload proof once they become eligible.

Those who have been deemed exempt will be required to be tested twice per week.
