Vaccine clinic in Johnston postponed due to Tropical Storm Henri

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – The Johnston Police Department announced Friday that the coronavirus vaccination clinic scheduled for Monday at the Johnston Indoor Recreation Center has been postponed due to Tropical Storm Henri.

The clinic has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 26 from 3 to 7 p.m. and will stay at the Indoor Recreation Center.

The clinic is for those ages 12 to 18, or people getting a third shot. The clinic will offer first, second, and third doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Those receiving a third dose must have a medical condition that causes moderate to severe immunosuppression.
