Vice President Kamala Harris to visit Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The White House announced on Friday that Vice President Kamala Harris will be making a stop in Rhode Island on Wednesday.

Harris won’t be alone in her visit. Former Rhode Island Gov. and current U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo will be making the trip as well.

The vice president will be promoting President Joe Biden’s $2 trillion American Jobs Plan during her visit.

Harris has been increasing her travel recently as coronavirus restrictions loosen.
