WARREN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office on Monday identified the victim in the Warren nursing home murder case.
Brian Hodge, a spokesperson for Attorney General Peter Neronha, said the 81-year-old killed by Robert Hill on April 28 was John Sullivan.
Hill and Sullivan were roommates at the Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation, said Hodge.
Also Monday, Hill’s attorney told ABC 6 News that his client was deemed incompetent to stand trial. His case was continued to Aug. 21 to determine if competency can be restored.
The suspect, who’s 76 years old, was charged with first degree murder.
