Warm Week Ahead
Warm temperatures are on the way this week. Sunshine returns for the day Tuesday and will help bring temperatures to 50 in the afternoon – a full 10 degrees milder than average. Wednesday will see a warm front come through with more cloudiness and highs in the mid-50s. The warm air will pour into the region for Thursday and high temperatures will top out likely in the lower-60s. The record high Thursday is 60 degrees from 1910. Thursday night will bring through a cold front will rain and eventually colder temperatures. Any delay of that front could carry the warmth into Friday after midnight, breaking the record high for that day too which is 66 from 1981.
