Warming and Dry Week Ahead

This is the week where it seems we will go from spring briefly into summer. We will gradually warm into the 60s Monday, the 70s Tuesday and the 80s Thursday, culminating with a run at the record high temperature on Friday. The week will be sun-filled and dry too. This will present a particular concern for the risk of brushfires. Wednesday will be a key day to watch out for this as it will be sunny and dry with gusty breezes near 30 mph. With these conditions, brushfires will be quick to start, fast to spread and difficult to contain.
