Warming quickly today; Cold front and scattered showers this evening
PROVIDENCE, R.I.(WLNE) — We are warming up today. Temperatures will be in the 60s along the coast; 70s inland. Winds will be out of the south 5-15mph.
Cold front moves through later this evening. It’s more organized to the north of us, but once it reaches us it starts to fall apart. Expect scattered showers after 7-8pm.

By the time we get to the weekend we have a high pressure system that parks over us and that helps keep Saturday, Sunday, and Monday dry. It is possible we could see some scattered showers by Tuesday as we have a system that is trying to track up the Atlantic coast line.
