Warren man wins much bigger than he initially thought

WARREN, R.I. (WLNE)- A Warren man missed a few zeros when he first read his winning ticket.

David Silva and his wife each bought a “Rhode Island Mega Loteria” Instant Game ticket from a local convenience store.

Silva had a winning ticket. At first he thought that he had won $600, which isn’t a bad prize at all.

His wife looked at the ticket and corrected him. He had actually won the $60,000 top prize.

Silva says that he plans to pay to repair his grandson’s car and will also buy himself a new truck.
