WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- The City of Warwick announced on Wednesday that McDermott Pool will be reopening on Monday.

This will be the first time that the pool opens since March of 2020.

Warwick residents will be able to use the pool for free for one month.

The city will also honor pool passes that were unable to be used due to the pandemic.

The grand reopening will be at 9 a.m., where Mayor Frank Picozzi and the Director of Parks and Recreation will discuss the renovations to the pool, why it was originally shut down, and capacity limits.
