Warwick limits access to city buildings

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)– As COVID-19 cases continue to spike around the state, Warwick Mayor Joseph Solomon announced that access to city buildings will be by appointment only beginning Nov. 30.

The buildings impacted include City Hall, the Buttonwoods Municipal Annex, Pilgrim Senior Center, and Randall Holden.

More information on how to make appointments is available at warwickri.gov.

“We’re seeing a drastic increase in cases of COVID-19 in Warwick and across the state, and that means we need to step up our protocols,” Solomon said.

While the Pilgrim Senior Center will be closed to the public, meal services for those dependent on them will continue. Senior residents with questions are asked to call the Department of Senior Services at (401) 468-4070.
