Warwick police announce SafeRides program for St. Patrick’s Day

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department announced they will be holding a SafeRides program for St. Patrick’s Day.

The department said SafeRides will offer free rides home from bars and clubs in the city of Warwick to help curb drunk driving.

Citizen volunteers will be available from 7:00 p.m. Friday until 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

Warwick residents should call (401) 732-0308 to schedule their ride.
