Warwick Police Investigate Double Stabbing

ABC6 News has learned that the Warwick Police Department is investigating a double-stabbing, that took place at 15 Frost St, around 8:30 Sunday night.

Police tell ABC6 News that Brian Kelleher, and Joel Campbell were both stabbed Sunday night, after they got into an argument with a man police have not yet identified. Both Kelleher, and Campbell have been charged with disorderly conduct, the man that stabbed both of them was still being questioned by police Sunday night.

According to Police, Kelleher refused medical treatment, but Campbell had to be taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

ABC6 News spoke exclusively with Mr. Kelleher over the phone Sunday night, he claims that he and Mr. Campbell approached the man that stabbed them in order to collect money he owed them. Then, according to Kelleher, the man attacked them first with a stick, then stabbed Mr. Kelleher in the chest, and Mr. Campbell in the back with a knife.

Police refused to comment on Mr. Kelleher's story Sunday night, but did say that they were looking into all sides of the story.
