Warwick police seek suspect from alleged attempted restaurant break-in

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE)- Warwick police are calling upon the public for help in identifying a suspect believed to have sought entry into an Oakland Beach restaurant.

Police say the man was caught on camera sometime after midnight on August 27, attempting to gain entrance by several doors to Beach Café at 805 Oakland Beach Ave.

Describing the man as “hangry”, police say the suspect allegedly smashed a glass patio door before fleeing without ever making entrance.

The suspect is described as a white male, of medium build, with light brown or red hair and a short beard.
