Warwick Police seek suspect wanted for counterfeit bills

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department are warning residents to be on alert for a man allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills.

A post on the department’s Facebook page, said officers are searching for a male who was last seen driving what appears to be a late model Chevrolet Malibu.

Warwick Police said the unidentified suspect has been stopping near local businesses, as well as people on the street and telling them the gas station doesn’t have enough change.
