Warwick woman, 3 dogs trapped in house fire

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Fire Department said a woman and three dogs were trapped in a house when it caught fire Thursday afternoon.
Battalion Chief Erik Anderson said they received a call from a neighbor who reported a fire on the second floor of the house.
He said when firefighters arrived, they found the woman and the three dogs on the landing of the stairs were able to get them all to safety.
The fire was knocked down in about five minutes. No injuries were reported.
A family of five adults was displaced following the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
