PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – A Warwick woman pleaded no contest to one count of involuntary manslaughter of her 7-month-old daughter in 2017.
37-year-old Mariah Ramos was charged in one count of involuntary manslaughter of Willow Beeley.

Beeley was sentenced to 25 years with 10 to serve at the ACI, and the balance suspended with probation.
According to the Attorney General’s office, had the case gone to trial, the state was prepared to prove that Ramos left her child with Beeley, who was under the influence of drugs at the time.
Beeley passed out on top of the infant, smothering her.
A toxicology report revealed that Beeley had Fentanyl, Cocaine, clonazepam, and methadone in his system at the time of the infant’s death.
After Ramos found Beeley on top of their daughter, Warwick emergency personnel who responded to the scene were unable to revive the infant.
Ramos will be sentenced on May 11 and faces a possible sentence of up to 30 years at the ACI
