Water main break causes road closures, flooding in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A water main break in Fall River has caused the city to close some of its roadways Tuesday morning.

The city said that the break happened at the intersection of Warren and Jefferson streets just before 8 a.m.

That area was closed due to flooding in the streets.

ABC 6 Crews on the scene were told that the break had been fixed by 11 a.m. and that the flooding is due to rainfall.

No further information was immediately released.
