Water main break disrupts traffic in Warwick
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation worked to fix a water main break on a busy road Thursday.
The break happened at 501 Centerville Road, or Route 117.
Westbound traffic was shut down. Police said at about 10:45 a.m. that one lane was expected to open soon.
The Interstate 95 exits north and south onto Route 117 were also closed.
Police said the break caused slight flooding.
