WaterFire announces additional full lighting Oct. 14

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — WaterFire Providence said there would be an additional lighting of the art installation on Oct. 14.

The lighting will begin at sunset and will remain burning until 11 p.m.

WaterFire said that this lighting brings the total number of full lightings this year to nine, and the total partial lightings to five.

The October lighting is being sponsored by Brown University.

“We are grateful for the continued support from Brown University and their commitment to igniting the city of Providence with creativity and economic vitality,” Managing Director Peter Mello said.
