Weekend starts and finishes dry, with showers and storms in between

Saturday night into Sunday morning will feature scattered showers or storms, but much of the daylight hours will be dry

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) — I hope everyone enjoyed the fantastic Friday weather! It was sunny, breezy and less humid, a gorgeous way to round out the work week.

Saturday will be a pretty nice day, with sun giving way to clouds from the west late in the day. The is a slight chance that a shower could be around by evening.

Most of the wet weather should hold off until after sundown, with scattered showers and thunderstorms lingering into Sunday morning. There is a slight chance of a gusty storm overnight.

Conditions will improve throughout the day Sunday. with mostly sunny skies and falling humidity by the afternoon. The nice weather sticks around into Victory Day Monday!

But our active pattern with these quick-moving disturbances continues and showers return on Tuesday. The rest of the work week looks pretty good, with maybe some showers late Friday.

Have a great weekend!
